Dealing with these very unsettling times plus increasing caretaker responsibilities for a very frail parent, shopping, cooking and eating well (things i dearly love to do) have become just additional stressors. I love all these great ideas. For savory porridge, I recommend adding a little soy sauce unless you want to avoid the soy (duh) and the salt. The tiniest amount makes it savory.

my New Years resolution was to have more veggies for breakfast — so I love this!! I've also tried:
- millet porridge with chunks of butternut squash + savory or sweet toppings
- breakfast panzannella with arugula, red onion, tomato, egg, tons of croutons
- kale frittata
everyone keeps raving about a tofu scramble, but I have yet to give it a try. any tips?
